Abstract

Would you like for your atrial fibrillation (and other arrhythmia) patients to be easier to deal with, to be adherent to their treatment, and to have better outcomes? In this session, you will learn ways to deal with patients who research online, to evaluate and choose credible online resources for your patients, and to understand why patients are not adherent and how you can change that. We will understand the role of HON code certification by the global Health on the Net Foundation in identifying credible resources for your patients and will preview some new AF patient education resources (booklets, infographics, and videos) that are being launched in multiple languages by a global coalition of patient-focused organizations. You will take away a collection of resources to engage and empower your patients and improve the AF patient experience.
