Abstract Title: Atrial Gene Transfer of CaMKII Inhibitor Decreases Atrial Fibrillation Burden.
Abstract Summary: They assessed the role of Calcium/Calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) in the pathogenesis of AF in animal study in 10 pigs, with the conclusion that inhibition of CaMKII by Adenoviral gene transfer significantly reduces the degree of AF burden.
