Should Physicians Continue to Recommend Fish Oil for Patients with Atrial Fibrillation?

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is highly prevalent. It is responsible for significant morbidity and mortality, primarily because it increases the risk of stroke and congestive heart failure [1]. Current therapies are not always effective, and many anti-arrhythmic drugs have toxic side effects. As such, there is an unmet need to find a safe and effective anti-fibrillatory dug.
